Griffin Morris graduated from Kent State University with a Master of Architecture and Master of Business Administration in 2011, and began teaching as an adjunct faculty member for Kent State University in the following semester. He moved to Florida in 2016, and joined Florida Atlantic University in 2018. He is a licensed architect, and enjoys research into digital design, parametric design, and fabrication techniques.

In addition to teaching at the University, Griffin leads the A.R.E. Study Sessions for AIA Fort Lauderdale and works full time at DS Architecture. DS Architecture’s unique culture and collaborative design process has led the firm to numerous awards, including the Cleveland Restoration Society and AIA Cleveland’s Excellence in Design Award and Preservation Achievement Award, the AIA Akron Honor Award, and the Heritage Ohio Best Public Private Partnership Award. The firm’s work has been featured in Properties Magazine and Crain’s Cleveland Business. Griffin previously worked for Payto Architects on the Center for the Visual Arts at Kent State University, which was awarded the ALA Merit Award in 2016.
