Dr. Randy Atlas, Adjunct Instructor in the School of Architecture and America’s only architect-criminologist, recently wrote an article that is featured in a national press release by U.S. business security company, Securitas.
The article, “Designing Safe Schools in Dangerous Times”, looks at the 4 key areas of school design that should incorporate crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) and why a single point of entry is now the gold standard in school design.
